By Katie Sherratt Apr 2, 2026 | 11:35 AM

Congratulations to Tyson Copper, the Athlete of the Week!

Sports: Baseball, Hockey, & Football

As a multi-sport athlete, Tyson consistently demonstrates selflessness, dedication, and a commitment to growth that sets him apart. Tyson is always working to improve his skills, whether it’s through team practices or putting in extra time on his own. His dedication is unmatched—travelling to Ajax to train with the Ontario Yankees baseball program several nights a week while balancing school work and making trips to Kingston for additional hitting sessions to refine his craft. Despite these commitments, he continues to balance his time with high school sports such as hockey and football at Eastside, showing remarkable discipline and passion for athletics. Beyond his personal achievements, Tyson is a supportive and encouraging teammate who leads by example. His work ethic, positive attitude, and drive to continuously improve make him a standout athlete and an excellent choice for this recognition.
