Temperature could drop 20 degrees Monday in Quinte

Monday could go from feeling like mid-spring to late winter again by the end of the day in Quinte.

Environment Canada’s forecast for Monday is for rain through the mid-day with a high near 12.

Snow is expected to return by the end of the day with an overnight low of minus 8 and a windchill of minus 16 (minus 19 early Tuesday morning).

A Special Weather Statement has also been issued with winds possibly gusting to 90 km/hour starting Monday afternoon.
