Quebec man charged after damage was done to vehicle

The Quinte West OPP has laid charges against a man from Quebec after damage was reportedly done to a vehicle.

Around 11:30 p.m. Monday, the Quinte West OPP were dispatched to a report of a person causing damage to a vehicle in a parking lot.

42-year old Sebastian Lavoie was charged with impaired, mischief to destroy or damage property and failure or refusal to comply with a demand.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Belleville Court on April 16.

The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and their license suspended for 90 days.
