House fire Tuesday morning in Batawa

There was a major house fire early Tuesday morning in Batawa.

Quinte West Firefighters responded to 95 Frazer Road around 2 am.

The fire began in the garage and quickly spread to the house itself, causing major damage.

Two adults and two children inside all made it out safely.

Victim services responded and Quinte West OPP, Hastings Quinte Paramedics and Hydro One also attended.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
