The Feed the Meter campaign has been another great success this past year.

Mayor Neil Ellis, on behalf of the City of Belleville, presented members of the Hastings Prince Edward Learning Foundation with a $20,664.06 cheque for all of the funds collected during the campaign this past December.

These funds, accumulated through change into city parking machine, go toward their Food for Learning program, which ensures that local students have daily access to healthy, nutritious food while at school.

Both the Learning Foundation and the city thank everyone who supported the cause.
