Dhanpattie Hansraj of Belleville is celebrating after stepping inside OLG’s newest experiential lottery game, INSTANT MONEY MACHINE (Game #2481), and winning an incredible $65,000!
The winning ticket was purchased at Esso on Old Highway 2 in Shannonville.
Dhanpattie said she enjoys playing new lottery games and has played MONEY MACHINE a few times before her big win. “I didn’t know what it meant at first when I saw my ticket said, ‘MONEY MACHINE’, so I checked it while I was at the gas station and they told me I won something big,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
The 56-year-old said she was nervous the day of her MONEY MACHINE event. “I was super shocked when I discovered I caught enough bills to win $65,000!” Dhanpattie smiled. “I never expected this!”
With her windfall, Dhanpattie plans to complete some home renovations, put some toward her daughter’s university education and help the rest of her immediate family.
“My mother, before she passed away, told me that she dreamed that I was going to win the lottery one day. With this win, I feel like I achieved my mom’s dream.”
