The pride of Quinte put in a solid performance on day one of the Winter Olympics in Italy.

Lia Pereira and Trennt Michaud were fourth in their section of the team event (Pair Skating – Short Program) with an impressive score of 68.24.

They finished behind the teams from Japan, Georgia and the host team from Italy.

The top five overall team scores at the end of the qualification phase advance to the final.
