Four people charged with impaired following separate collisions in Lennox and Addington

Lennox and Addington County members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged four people with impaired driving in a 6 day stretch following four separate incidents involving collisions.

On Friday February 20, 2026, just before 9:00 p.m., L&A County OPP members were called regarding a single vehicle collision on Deseronto Road in the area of Bridge St West in Tyendinaga Township. Police attended the location a suspect driver was arrested.

Paul AUTY, a 67-year-old from Loyalist Township, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol
  • Dangerous operation

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on March 31, 2026. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded.

On Saturday February 21, 2026, just before 11:00 p.m, L&A County OPP was called regarding a single vehicle collision on Bridge Street near Slash Road, in the Town of Greater Napanee. Following an investigation, a suspect was located nearby and arrested.  Breath testing at the detachment revealed a blood alcohol concentration over four times the legal limit.

Sierra WILSON, a 30-year-old from Napanee, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol
  • Dangerous Operation
  • Fail to remain

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on March 31, 2026. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded.

On Wednesday February 25, 2026, just after 1:00 a.m, L&A County OPP was called regarding a vehicle collision on County Road 9, in the Town of Greater Napanee. During the investigation at scene, it was determined that a witness driver had been drinking, that driver was arrested.

Russell ROGERS, a 23-year-old from Napanee, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol
  • Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on April 14, 2026. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded.

On Wednesday February 25, 2026, just after 7:00 p.m, L&A County OPP was called regarding a single vehicle collision on Casey Road near Craig Road, in Tyendinaga Township. Following an investigation, the driver was arrested.

Michelle PATTERSON, a 52-year-old from Tyendinaga Township, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – over 80 mgs of alcohol

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on April 7, 2026. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and their vehicle was impounded.
