Final day to offer feedback on Belleville budget

Belleville residents have one last chance to have their say on the 2026 Operating Budget through an online survey.

Wednesday is the final day to share feedback on the draft budget ahead of a special council meeting at 9 a.m. Feb. 25.

The proposed budget would result in the following increases to property taxes:  

Belleville Urban: 5.32%  

Cannifton Urban: 5.27%  

Cannifton Rural: 6.26%  

Belleville Rural: 4.85%  

Cannifton Rural to Urban: 7.28%
