Athlete of the Week: Bentley Stevens

By Kay Joly Feb 27, 2026 | 10:00 AM

Congratulations to Bentley Stevens, the Cool 100 and Hits 95.5 Athlete of the Week!

Sports: Hockey

Team Names: Stirling Blues U15 Rep

Bentley made the team as an alternate player this season. He didn’t get to play in all the games of the season as a result, but he attended as many practices as his other team would allow and showed true dedication to the team that needed him during injuries, illness, or other reasons.

Recently during pre-playoffs we had a player suspended, and Bentley subbed in. He made the long trip to Bancroft to help the team out. Although we fell short of the win by one goal, Bentley helped keep it close by scoring his first goal for the U15 Stirling Blues rep team. His dedication and hard work have been very much appreciated all season.

Nominate your athlete at www.cool100.ca or www.hits955.ca. Tell us their story and why they deserve the spotlight. We’ll feature them on air on Cool 100 and Hits 955, on our socials, and on InQuinte.ca! Plus, the athlete of the week will win vouchers to enjoy 2 free extra value meals from participating McDonald’s restaurants in Trenton, Brighton, and Campbellford!
