Significant weather events end in Belleville, Quinte West

By Brock Ormond Jan 30, 2026 | 9:49 AM

Two major municipalities in Quinte have called for an end to significant weather events.

Belleville and Quinte West both declared these events earlier this week due to heavy, record-setting snowfall, which required extra time to clear off roads, sidewalks and trails.

Regular snow removal operations will continue over the coming days and weeks in both cities.

Officials from both municipalities thank their respective staff teams for their hard work and dedication during these conditions.
