Quinte West man facing child pornography charge in Belleville

A Quinte West man has been arrested by Belleville Police on a child pornography charge.

On January 8th, the Belleville Police Service and O.P.P. Internet Child Exploitation Units, Criminal Investigations Division, Emergency Response Unit and the Technological Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Quinte West.

Douglas Barry, 64-year-old Quinte West man, was arrested and charged with possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in March.
