By Paul Martin Jan 29, 2026 | 8:47 AM

It’s the end of an era for Loyalist College and Lancer indoor sports.

The ‘Lancerdome,’ the school’s gym for several decades, is closing to make way for a brand-new facility in 2026-27.

With only five home dates remaining in the regular season, the Lancers are inviting alumni, former athletes, longtime supporters, and community members to return and help celebrate the final chapter in the gym that was home to many a memorable moment in Loyalist sports history.

The final opportunities to experience the atmosphere, energy, and history of the original Lancer gym are as follows;

Basketball

  • Saturday, February 7 – Women’s & Men’s Basketball vs Durham Lords- 1 & 3 PM
