Cancellations – January 19th 2026

Our heavy dose of winter weather is having an impact on events across the Quinte Region on Monday.

Quinte Field Naturalist 7 Pm meeting at Maranatha Church has been cancelled.

School buses across most of the Quinte Region were cancelled on Monday.

Schools in Prince Edward County were also closed as they are expecting 20-40 cm of snow in PEC.

Due to deteriorating weather conditions throughout the day, all city programs at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre are cancelled effective 1 p.m.

Facility and ice rentals will proceed, but participants are encouraged to check with their organizations/groups to confirm the status of their rental.

City programs after 1 p.m. include fitness, gymnasium, children’s programs, recreational skating, all pool programs and private pool rentals, workout studio and Belleville’s 50+ Centre.

704 “Air Force City” Air Cadets has cancelled their Monday evening training due to road and weather conditions.
