OPP investigating gunshots at South Frontenac residence

The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating after gunshots were reported in Sydenham, in the Township of South Frontenac.

On Friday, December 26, 2025, at around 2:40 a.m., members of Frontenac OPP were dispatched to a report of gunshots at a residence on Sydenham Mill Street. Officers arrived on scene shortly after and confirmed no injuries were sustained.

The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Frontenac OPP Crime Unit.

Officers are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately to police.
