CSV Receives three major Belleville Community Awards

The Children’s Safety Village of Belleville is proud to announce that it has been recognized with three top honours in the 2025 Belleville Community Votes Awards: Platinum – Community Organization, Gold – Non-Profit, and Top Pick – Organization Services. This recognition reflects the strong support of families, educators, first responders, and community partners who value the vital safety education the Village provides to children across the region.

Belleville Community Votes is an annual, community-driven recognition program that highlights outstanding organizations, services, and businesses as chosen directly by residents. Earning distinctions in three categories demonstrates the growing impact and reach of the Children’s Safety Village.

Executive Director Rachelle Baldock shared:
“This recognition is a powerful reminder of how important our work is. It motivates us to continue growing, innovating, and empowering children with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe.”

For more than 20 years, the Children’s Safety Village has delivered immersive, hands-on learning in fire safety, street safety, bike safety, internet safety, electrical safety and more. Each year, thousands of children across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties—and beyond—benefit from programs that equip them with life-saving skills and confidence.

These awards come at an exciting time for the Village as it continues to strengthen partnerships, expand program offerings, and prepare for a future relocation to support greater accessibility and growth.

The Children’s Safety Village extends its sincere thanks to everyone who voted and to the dedicated volunteers, educators, and community partners who make this work possible. Together, the community is helping build a safer future for every child.
