The City of Belleville will host two grant-writing workshops for individuals interested in applying for City grants or who have applied in the past. The first session will take place Jan. 5, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m., and the second will be held March 4, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon. Both sessions will take place at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre, 265 Cannifton Rd., Minor Sports Meeting Room, second floor.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the grant process from start to finish and receive tips on effective grant writing. Those interested in Community Impact and Tourism initiatives will also have an opportunity to learn about the steps involved in becoming a not-for-profit organization. A question-and-answer period will follow the workshop, giving attendees a chance to ask any additional questions that may arise during the grant-writing process.

Space is limited, so those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible by visiting City Grant Writing Workshop Registration – City of Belleville and completing the online form.
