Shannonville man charged with mischief in Belleville

A Shannonville man has been charged with mischief following an incident over the weekend in Belleville.

On November 9th at 1:19am, Belleville Police responded to the city’s east end regarding a report of mischief. It was reported that an unknown male had been observed kicking in a basement window of a residence. Officers attended the area, located a suspect, and spoke with him.

As a result, Andrew Borchert, a 43-year-old Shannonville man was arrested and charged with:

· Mischief under $5000

· Failure to comply with a probation order

He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in January.
