Search is on for wanted Federal Offender

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of their Statutory Release.

Jeffrey SPARKS is described as a Caucasian Male, 67 years old, 5’11” (180cm), 209lbs (94kgs), grey hair, and hazel eyes with Tattoos of a Praying Mantis on his left forearm, and Praying Hands on his left Arm.

SPARKS is serving a 19-year, 8-month, and 22-day sentence for:

Possession of Break In Instruments
Mischief in Relation to Other Property
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5000
Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
Flight while Pursued by Peace Officer
Attempt Indictable Offence
Break and Enter with Intent to Commit Indicatable Offence
Break and Enter and Commit Indicatable Offence
Theft Under $5000
Impaired Driving
Fail to Provide Breath/Blood Sample
Assault with a Weapon
Theft of Motor Vehicle

The offender is known to frequent Toronto, Newmarket, Oshawa, and Durham Ontario & Gatineau, Quebec.
