Lancers Weekly Recap

By Brock Ormond Nov 25, 2025 | 12:58 PM

The Loyalist Lancers battled hard in basketball and volleyball games this past weekend.

The Lancers men’s basketball team won decisively over the Fleming Knights 99-80 in a game on Friday.

However, the Lancers men’s and women’s volleyball squads came up short in a pair of doubleheaders, with the women falling to Seneca 3-0 on Saturday and Canadore 3-1 on Sunday.

The men came up just short versus the Sting on Saturday, dropping the match by one set, but then got swept in three straight sets by Canadore the next day.

For their efforts over the weekend, the Loyalist Athletic Department awarded Lancer Athletes of the Week honours to volleyball players Jamie Routledge (women) and Simon Canon (men).
