By Paul Martin Nov 17, 2025 | 10:22 AM

Belleville will take a significant step forward on Tuesday as the city plans to spend tens of millions of dollars on big ticket items in 2026.

Council will meet to approve the capital budget and also the 10-year craft capital plan.

The capital budget for Belleville for next year currently sits at 55.5 million dollars, a slight increase from this year’s 53.7 million.

Council will also hear from Chief Murray Rodd on the budget for next year for the Belleville Police Service.

Council meets at city hall in Belleville Tuesday morning at 9 am.
