After several years, the Greater Napanee Municipal Arts & Culture Awards will return.
The Greater Napanee Municipal Arts & Culture Awards recognize and celebrate individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses that bring art, culture, and imagination to life within the community.
The awards recognize individuals nominated in the following categories:
Emerging Artist – Recognizing rising creative talent
Excellence in Fine Arts – Visual arts, music, theatre, performance, and more
Excellence in Decorative & Applied Arts – Celebrating artisans in craft, design, and creative media
Champion of the Arts – For those who promote and support local culture
Legacy Award – Honouring a lifetime of artistic impact
“It’s great to see these awards return to recognize residents that have made a significant impact in the arts and culture landscape of our community.” said Mayor Richardson. “Our Municipal Arts & Culture Advisory Committee has dedicated a lot of time and effort into bringing these awards back and ensuring that artists stories, history, and voices are recognized.”
Nomination forms will be accepted until November 30, 2025, and can be found on the Town’s website. An awards ceremony will take place at North Fredericksburgh Hall on February 26, 2026.
