Woman charged with assault in east-end Belleville

On October 26th (Sunday) at 4:50pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding an assault. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the parties involved. It was reported that that a female had become physically aggressive towards a male at the residence and punched him in the face.

As a result of investigation, a 25-year-old female was arrested and charged with:

· Assault

· Fail to comply with probation order X6

· Fail to comply with release order X2

She was held for a bail hearing.
