U9 Thunderhawks on top at provincials

The U9 Quinte Thunderhawks Sixes Lacrosse Team made history by winning the Ontario B Division Championship this past weekend in Hamilton Ontario.

This is theĀ first time the organization won the Ontario Championship for Sixes Lacrosse.

The Thunderhawks displayed exceptional defence in claiming their semifinal contest versus the Guelph Regals by a score of 16-9 and continued that play in their 11-9 championship final victory against the Toronto Beaches.

The Thunderhawks is a combination of the Quinte Bayhawks and Tyendinaga Thunderbirds lacrosse organizations.
