An investigation into a break-and-enter from the summer has produced an arrest a little more than two months later.

Belleville Police had been looking into an incident from July 24, where between the hours of a 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., a person had gained entry into a west end residence by smashing through a window and stealing various items.

Officers identified a male suspect and eventually located and arrested the person early Tuesday afternoon.

A 34-year-old Belleville man with break and enter.

He was held for a bail hearing.
