Small apartment fire snuffed out quickly in Trenton

A small apartment fire in Trenton was snuffed out quickly in the early Monday morning hours.

The blaze reportedly broke out at a residence on Fifth Avenue around 4:30 a.m.

Quinte West Fire Chief John Whelan stated there was about $75,000 in damage.

One woman was treated for smoke inhalation at Trenton Memorial Hospital, but other than that, no injuries were reported.
