Red Devils grad included in OHL trade

By Hailey MacDonald Oct 30, 2025 | 3:14 PM

A Quinte Red Devils graduate is part of a major trade in the Ontario Hockey League.

The major junior circuit announced defenceman Ben Danford has been dealt from the Oshawa Generals to the Brantford Bulldogs as part of a five player transaction.

Nine draft picks also swing Oshawa’s way in exchange for Danford and fellow blueliner Zackary Sandhu.

The 19-year-old was a first round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2024 and posted 83 points in 196 OHL games with Oshawa.

Danford will be joining a first place Bulldogs group that has not lost in regulation yet this season.
