Quinte West road closure this Thursday, Friday

All through traffic will be detoured on a Quinte West road for parts of two days later this week.

The Municipality of Quinte West says Aikins Road will be closed to through traffic from Oct. 30 to Oct. 31 for Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway maintenance.

The closure is expected to start around 6 a.m. Thursday and last until Friday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Access to Aikins Road will be maintained from Highway 2 and Hamilton Road throughout the duration of the closure.
