By Hailey MacDonald Oct 27, 2025 | 12:31 PM

The PJHL Tod Division continues to be fiercely competitive, with all local teams fighting it out in close games over the past few days.

THURSDAY- PIRATES 5 THUNDER 1

The Picton Pirates only game of the week/weekend was a winning one, 5-1 over the Trent Hills Thunder.

Luc Amat led the attack with two goals and an assist in the Pirates fifth victory in a row.

Beckham Brooks notched his first two points as a Pirate with a goal and an assist, Keenan Wiles added a pair of points as well and Ben Smith pitched with a tally.

Other assists went to Gerrit Kempers (3), Owen Findlay (2), Colby Leaver and Cole Mulder (one each).

Keegan Juchau notched the Thunder’s lone marker.

Nolan Lane made 27 saves, while Christian Lambert was busy making 55 stops for Trent Hills.

SATURDAY- CHIEFS 3 RAIDERS 2

The Napanee Raiders have hit a bump in the road, dropping four of their last five games with a 3-2 defeat to the Lakefield Chiefs.

Lakefield stormed back after being down 2-0 with three second period goals and locked the win down in the third.

Andrew Carr and Mason Goodfellow found the net for Napanee.

Jacob Brown made 38 stops in the loss.

PANTHERS 4 HUSKIES 2

The Port Hope Panthers broke out of a 2-2 deadlock on Christian Sokoljuk’s second of the game about halfway through the third period and added another to put the Frankford Huskies away.

Spencer Stanutz struck quick, just seven seconds into the final frame on a powerplay before Port Hope took over.

Mason Boyer added a powerplay goal back in the first.

Keagan Carr, Blake Ellis and Ty McCambridge picked up assists and Jaime Bales made 19 stops.

SUNDAY- HUSKIES 4 THUNDER 2

The next day saw the Huskies come out on the winning end of the same scoreline against the Trent Hills Thunder.

Deke Osterhout scored twice, with McCambridge and Blake Ellis adding single tallies.

Stanutz and Riley Grimmon picked up two assists each, with Keagan Carr registering one.

Bales made 22 stops in his second start in as many days.

Gage Locke notched his first PJHL goal for Trent Hills with Owen Ellis also reaching the scoresheet.

Juchau and Bryce Davy registered helpers and in another fairly rubber-filled game for the Thunder, Parker Robbins stopped 36 of 40 Frankford chances.
