PEC holding last World Series watch party at Crystal Palace

By Hailey MacDonald Oct 29, 2025 | 3:39 PM

After considering the weather over the next couple of nights, the municipality has decided to host one final World Series screening event Wednesday, October 29.

The watch party will take place at the Crystal Palace (375 Picton Main Street). First pitch is 8:08 pm.

Even though the event is inside, the Crystal Palace is cold, so County officials say it would be best to bring an extra layer of clothing and bring your chair and favourite snacks for a cozy fall evening of baseball and community spirit.

Rain is forecasted for Game 6 on Friday night and Game 7 Saturday night if necessary. With suitable indoor venues unavailable, the municipality will not host watch parties on those evenings.
