Northumberland OPP charge man with excessive speed in Hamilton

On Oct 17, 2025, shortly after 3:00 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle for traveling at 141 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone on County Rd 28.

The 46-year-old male driver from the Township of Hamilton was charged with stunt driving – excessive speed, had their vehicle impounded for 14 days and license suspended for 30 days.

The OPP remind the public that excessive speed is dangerous and costly. Slow down and keep the roads safe.
