Municipality of Brighton provides trick-or-treating tips and information

By Hailey MacDonald Oct 25, 2025 | 5:48 AM

It’s almost time to trick-or-treat.

The Municipality of Brighton has provided tips and information for the upcoming weekend.

As we get ready to celebrate spooky season, before your trick-or-treaters head out, remember:

Choose flame-resistant, well-fitting costumes.

Add reflective tape and carry flashlights.

Use face paint instead of masks for better visibility.

Cross streets safely – at corners, not between cars.

Check treats before eating and avoid choking hazards.

The municipality is looking forward to welcoming trick-or-treaters at:

Codrington Trunk and Treat, happening Oct 25 from 4o to 6pm at the Codrington Community Centre (2992 County Rd 30).

Brighton Fire and Rescue Station #1 (20 Elizabeth St) on Oct 31 from 5:30 to 8:30pm.

Brighton Public Library (35 Alice St) on Oct 31 for Trick or Treat with the Mayor and Brighton Public Library staff from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
