The County of Prince Edward is asking residents to share their thoughts about the new long-term care building project that the municipality is currently undertaking.
The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Resident input will help the municipality understand your awareness, perceptions and information needs related to long-term care in Prince Edward County.
All those who complete the survey and provide a contact email will be entered into a draw to win a $100 gift certificate for any store, restaurant, service or experience offered by a Prince Edward County business.
The survey is completely confidential. Any reporting will only involve aggregated data points with no personally attributable information.
The survey is available online and Paper copies are also available from Customer Service at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street).
Construction is underway on the new 160-bed long-term care home in Prince Edward County. The current H.J. McFarland Memorial Home remains in operation while the new building is under construction.
The new home will include many spacious resident lounges and areas that meet or exceed Ministry requirements as well as large open areas for community gatherings, relaxation or entertainment and family visiting.
It will include enhanced programming and care spaces to improve resident outcomes and extensive landscaping, outdoor walkways, and patios to connect the home to the broader community and Millennium Trail.
