The Belleville Police laid impaired driving charges following a reported collision in the downtown area Sunday night.

Just after 9 p.m. officers on duty found a vehicle with a damaged front tire and a pole that appeared to be struck nearby.

Following an investigation, 28-year-old Racheal Stull of Belleville was arrested and charged with driving while impaired over 80 mg.

She was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with several offences and released with an October court date.
