Belleville’s Draft 2026 Capital Budget is worth $55.5 million, a slight increase from 2025’s $53.7 million.

Projects for next year include:

– Bridge St. E – Farley to Haig for five million dollars

– $4.35 million for the Road Resurfacing Program

– $9.5 million for a Water and Wastewater Facility

– More than $1.9 million for two rural fire pumpers

– $3.9 million for five transit bus replacements

The link to the full Capital Budget and 10-year Capital Plan can be found here. Public input is being accepted by the city until November 3rd. You can provide your input here.

Council will gather at City Hall to discuss both at 9 am on November 18th.
