Transit update: Temporary Loyalist College route changes

By Hailey MacDonald Sep 25, 2025 | 4:38 PM

Due to the ongoing strike at Loyalist College and to ensure the safety of passengers, the following temporary transit changes will take effect on Friday, Sept. 26. These adjustments have been developed in partnership with Loyalist College to maintain service and support the safety of riders and the campus community throughout this labour disruption.

Route 4 (northbound) will stop at two temporary locations on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road:

In front of the Pioneer Building
Just past the main entrance of Loyalist College on the east side of the road

Route 3 (southbound) will not make any stops along Wallbridge-Loyalist Road

Those traveling to Loyalist College should use Route 4 only.

Riders are encouraged to continue using the Transit app for the most up-to-date information regarding route changes. For more information, contact Belleville Transit’s customer service team by phone at 613-962-1925 or by email at bellevilletransit@belleville.ca.
