Service changes for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation in Belleville

The City of Belleville will be recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation this Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Please note the following changes to City services:

· City Hall – Closed Sept. 30.

· Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Closed Sept. 30.

· Transit – Regular transit and mobility transit running as usual.

· Leaf & Yard Waste Depot – Closed Sept. 30.

· Thurlow Landfill – No change to regular public hours.

· Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot – No change to regular public hours.

· Glanmore National Historic Site – Closed Sept. 30.

· Belleville Public Library – Closed Sept. 30.

· Community Archives – Closed Sept. 30.

There will be no changes to curbside garbage, green bin or bulky items collection.

A ceremony will be held at Market Square that day, with more information at this link.
