Parking, shuttle bus, accessibility info for Brighton Applefest

The Municipality of Brighton wants to inform residents and visitors about parking, shuttle bus, and accessibility for their upcoming Applefest.

Additional parking is available on Saturday, Sep 27 only at the following locations during festival hours:

Dunnett Orchards, 143 Dundas St

Municipal Parking Lot behind Sobeys

Brighton Health Centre, 170 Main St

Brighton Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 204 Main St

Brighton Evangel Pentecostal Church, 30 Butler St

Prince Edward Square, 46 Prince Edward St

Holy Angels Catholic Church, 40 Centre St

Parking is NOT available on Main St. Residents who live along Main St are asked to ensure their vehicles are removed before 5am. Parking is available on side streets. If parking in these areas, ensure you are not parkined in a no parking area and not blocking driveways, fire hydrants, or pedestrian walkways.

Applefest Shuttle Buses will be running from 9am to 4:30pm on Saturday, Sep 27 only, making stops at the free parking areas listed above and will also be providing hop-on/hop-off services at all of the events, including:

A stop on Sanford St for events taking place on Main St, including the Street Fair, Music in the Park, and the Kimsen Beer Tent.

Stops on Terry Fox Dr and Dundas St for The Car Show and Meet the Fleet.

A stop at King Edward Park Arena for helicopter rides, the Children’s Village, and more.

Accessible parking spaces are available at all parking lots, with additional spaces available in the Municipal Parking Lots on Alice St by the library.

An accessible shuttle bus will be servicing all stops on the route and is also available on demand by calling 613.899.8287.

Please remember that Applefest is a pet-free, smoke-free, and vape-free festival.
