New 3v3 basketball court open in Riverstone Park

By Hailey MacDonald Sep 19, 2025 | 4:20 AM

The new 3v3 basketball court in Riverstone Park is now open.

Along with the basketball court, 64 trees were planted and a new trail was put in. A portion of these park improvements were funded by Geertsma Homes, who donated $45,000 towards this project earlier this year.

Riverstone Park is located in the Riverstone subdivision in the northeast section of the city. The park is located along Riverstone Way, between Essex Dr and Nipigon St.
