The Halloween Home Boo Tour is back for its final year in Quinte West.

Residents are invited to showcase their Halloween spirit by decorating the exterior of their residence and registering to be a destination along the City’s annual self-guided Halloween Home Boo Tour this October.

Break out your Halloween decor and turn your house, balcony, front porch, yard, or residence into a Halloween haven. Haunted houses, fairy-tale forests, spooky lights, ghosts, goblins, and graveyards are welcome.

All homes featured on the Halloween Home Boo Tour will be entered into the Boo Tour Community Contest. Tour attendees are invited to submit votes for the Most Creative Home and Spookiest Home.

Register by Oct 9 for a chance to win.

Plus, there will be four fan favourite prizes as a result of voting. Voting begins Friday, Oct 17 and is open until Saturday, Nov 1.

One contest winner in each category receive a $300 gift card to a Quinte West business of their choice and a winner in each ward category will also win a $100 gift card to a Quinte West business of their choice.

This is an outdoor decorating contest only. All decorations will be visible from the road. Tour attendees are not to stop or park along the roadway, enter private driveways, or walk onto property for the tour.

Lighting displays will be lit nightly from 6pm to 11:30om.

Quinte Transit will provide tours on Saturday, Oct 18 and Saturday Oct, 25 from 7pm to 9pm. For information or to book, please call Quinte Transit at 613.392.9664.
