Community Care Northumberland makes public statement regarding OPP investigation

Community Care Northumberland has released the following statement after three people were arrested in connection with a fraud case targetting their organization.

It is included below.

RELEASE – Community Care Northumberland (CCN) is cooperating with the Ontario Provincial Police on an active investigation into alleged fraudulent activity involving a former employee. The alleged individuals are no longer employed by or associated with CCN.

These activities were discovered following an internal review process and reported to OPP.

We recognize the seriousness of the situation and support a thorough and fair process. We are committed to integrity and accountability, ensuring that our operations, including the many programs and clients who rely on our services, remain unaffected.

As this is an active legal matter, we are unable to share details at this time; however, we will strive to provide transparent communication and updates as permitted.

We appreciate your support and understanding. We are cooperating with the ongoing OPP investigation. We will provide additional public statements as the investigation allows.
