Arrests made in continuing Tyendinaga police operation

By Hailey MacDonald Sep 24, 2025 | 9:13 AM

Tyendinaga Police has made arrests in an ongoing investigation related to non-criminal organizations operating on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.

The department announced officers took several people into custody on Tuesday and seized stolen property and firearms and halted what it stated was ‘unlawful diversion of water’ from the Bay of Quinte in an illegal cannabis production bust.

Police say at least five of the suspects are not from the Territory.

No names have been released just yet.

A significant police presence will remain on the Territory throughout Wednesday.
