Strategic Plan for Hastings/Quinte long-term care services updated

By Hailey MacDonald Aug 28, 2025 | 11:01 AM

The long-term Strategic Plan for the Hastings/Quinte long-term care services has been updated.

The information was presented this morning at Hastings County Council.

The Strategic Plan is centered around four key priorities, being resident satisfaction, effective communication, leadership and strong partnerships.

Details mentioned in the Strategic Plan included increasing the level of care for long-term care residents to four hours per day, per resident, to maintain and improve their quality of life, increasing the leverage of technology to enhance service delivery and support productivity, and ensuring there is an effective continuum of care for the residents.

These strategic updates align with the Hastings County Strategic Plan and are intended to advance meaningful, measurable outcomes through initiatives such as the Resident Annual Satisfaction Survey and the Quality Improvement Plan.
