Shannonville man charged with trespassing in Belleville

A man from Shannonville has been charged with criminal harassment following an incident over the weekend in Belleville.

On August 15th (Saturday) at 11:07pm, Belleville Police attended a residence in the city’s west end regarding a report of an unwanted person.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female who reported that a male was currently outside her residence in breach of his no contact order.

Officers located the male on the lawn behind her residence.

As a result, 42-year-old Shannonville man was arrested and charged with:

· Trespassing at night

· Criminal harassment

He was held for a bail hearing. His name was not released.
