Belleville fire personnel worked to get a blaze in a factory in the Northeast Industrial Park under control on Thursday morning.
The fire involved a large oven that extended into the building’s roof area and broke out around 9:15 a.m.
Deputy Fire Chief Mark Shannon told our newsroom firefighters were still on scene before noon checking for hot spots and fire prevention officials were investigating.
Hastings Quinte paramedics and Belleville Police offered support on scene as well.
There were no injuries.
