Charges laid following crash in Belleville

A Kingston woman has been charged following a crash on Sunday in Belleville.

On August 24th at approximately 9:00pm, Belleville Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 62 and Highway 14. Upon arrival, officers located two vehicles that had collided.

No injuries were reported, however, officers observed that three children were inside the vehicle, including one without a car seat.

As a result of investigation, a 30-year-old Kingston woman was arrested and charged with:

· Operation while impaired

· Abandoning a child

She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
