Belleville Police have laid an assault charge following an incident on Wednesday afternoon.

On August 27th, around 4:20 p.m., Belleville Police responded to a report of a disturbance in a business parking lot on Bell Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers located two males and two females who were separated. Upon speaking with all parties, it was reported that a physical altercation began after a minor vehicle collision, which caused no damage but escalated into a verbal dispute. The dispute reportedly turned physical, at which time one female was thrown to the ground.

As a result of the investigation, Paige Fox, a 22-year-old Flinton woman, was arrested and charged with assault.

She was released on an appearance notice.
