Stunt Driving charge laid in Quinte West

A motorist was charged with stunt driving in Quinte West on Thursday.

A member of the OPP TIME (Traffic Incident Management Enforcement) team in Quinte West stopped a driver on Highway 401 eastbound.

They were clocked at 153 km/h and charged with stunt driving.

That means an immediate 30-day driving suspension and a 14-day vehicle impound plus a day in court.

A conviction will means a minimum $2,000 fine, six demerit points and a one year driving prohibition.
