By Katie Sherratt Sep 18, 2024 | 2:10 PM

Frankford Road in Quinte West has been reopened following a fatal crash that resulted in two deaths on Tuesday night.

The road was closed in both directions between Rose Road and Wallbridge Loyalist Road after a head-on collision involving two vehicles around 9:40 pm.

The drivers of both vehicles were killed in the crash. They were the only occupants of each vehicle.

Frankford Road was closed in that area for more than 16 hours, reopening on Wednesday afternoon around 2 pm.

No names have been released.
