Quinte West OPP has laid charges in several impaired driving investigations over the weekend, including against one person from Tyendinaga.
On Saturday, November 15, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the Quinte West OPP conducted a traffic stop for speeding, the driver was arrested for impaired.
Sean McCormack, 38, from Oshawa, was charged with:
• Speeding 1-49 km/h over posted limit
• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Belleville Court on December 4.
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, at approximately 3:00 a.m., the Quinte West OPP were conducting R.I.D.E., an approved screening device was utilized and the driver arrested for impaired.
Jordan Lindsay-Campbell, 30, from Tyendinaga, was charged with:
• Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Belleville Court on December 4.
On Monday, November 17, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the Quinte West OPP conducted a traffic stop for a Highway Traffic Act infraction, the driver was arrested for impaired.
Peyton Storey, 32, from Clarington, was charged with:
• Obstruct plate
• Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Belleville Court on December 18.
All vehicles were impounded for seven days, and their licenses were suspended for 90 days.
